Anya & LeRoy

It was a Saturday night that LeRoy and Anya both almost missed entirely. After a long day of traveling, staying in felt like the only reasonable plan for Anya — until two good friends convinced her otherwise. LeRoy had just finished dinner nearby with friends and decided to make one more stop before calling it a night. By chance, he was seated at the table directly next to hers.

He noticed her before he ever said a word. The way she carried herself — poised, elegant, effortlessly classy — said everything without saying anything at all. From the moment his eyes landed on her it was clear she was exceptional. Some things you simply can't miss. And then he leaned over with one simple question: "What are you drinking?" The conversation lasted five minutes. Just five. But something in those five minutes was different.

Their only communication over the next month was finding a date that worked — life and schedules kept getting in the way. But you know what they say about timing. When it finally came together, it was worth every delayed attempt. They were fully present, fully locked in, and throughout the entire evening Anya could feel something she couldn't quite contain. By the time she got home, she reached for her phone and messaged her mother and a few close friends — this man had quietly reset the standard for how she deserved to be treated. She didn't know yet that he was her husband. But she knew enough to recognize that something had shifted — permanently.

For LeRoy, there was no gradual realization. He had known from that very first date. She would be his wife.

From that date forward they have been inseparable — traveling, overcoming obstacles, and purchasing their first home together. Now, with a lifetime ahead and a family of their own to build, they are ready for their next chapter.
