THE EVENT What is the Send-Off? The Minor Send-Off is an Atlanta celebration for those who are near and dear to us, to include guests that will not be attending the destination wedding in Antigua, Guatemala. Think of it as our way of celebrating with our full village before we say "I do." Is this a formal wedding event? No — the Send-Off is a separate celebration, not the wedding ceremony. It is an upscale cocktail party with small bites, music, and good company. Will Anya and LeRoy be there the entire time? Yes! We plan to be present and celebrating with you all evening. What about gifts? Due to the nature of our celebration — we will be departing for Guatemala the very next morning — we kindly ask that gifts not be purchased nor brought to the Send-Off. In lieu of gifts, we will have a card collection on site. Your words and well wishes mean everything to us. If you would like to contribute beyond that, our Wishing Well is available on the Registry page of this website. Why is the guest list limited for the Guatemala Wedding Ceremony? Every person who received an invitation was invited to both the Send-Off and the wedding in Guatemala. However, coordinating large groups for international travel is no small feat, so our Guatemala celebration operates on a first come, first served basis. If you are here with us tonight, we are so grateful. And if you are also joining us in Antigua — we cannot wait to celebrate with you there too. GETTING THERE Where is MCK Restaurant & Bar? 3209 Maple Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30305 — located in the Buckhead area. Is there parking available? Yes. Complimentary valet is available until 7pm. After 7pm, valet is $15. Is there public transportation nearby? We recommend rideshare services like Uber or Lyft for the easiest experience, especially if you plan to enjoy the bar. HOTELS & ACCOMMODATIONS Is there a hotel block for out-of-town guests? Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Place Atlanta-Buckhead Hotel at a discounted rate. The hotel is steps away from the venue. See the link above to book. When does the hotel block expire? We will share the booking deadline soon — book early to secure the discounted rate. Do I have to stay at the Hyatt? Not at all. It is simply our recommended option for convenience and proximity to the venue. FOOD & DRINKS Will there be a full dinner served? The Send-Off will feature small bites throughout the evening. We recommend eating beforehand if you have a larger appetite. Is there an open bar? There will be a cash bar available. Come ready to celebrate! DRESS CODE What is the dress code? Upscale Cocktail Attire. Think elevated and polished — cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, suits, and blazers are all great options. Is there a color palette to follow? Not for this event, however please refrain from wearing white. Can I wear jeans or sneakers? We kindly ask that guests honor the upscale cocktail dress code out of respect for the occasion and the restaurant. RSVP & GUESTS How do I RSVP?
